Alban Lanore is a French artist who creates stunning abstract sculptures from burnt wood. His works are a reflection of his deep connection with nature and his ability to transform its raw materials into breathtaking, one-of-a-kind artworks. His sculptural wood art breaks away from traditional woodcarving techniques, as he creates intricate designs using a chainsaw, chisels, and other hand tools. His radical shapes carved from sections of natural tree trunk and then charred as a contrast to the polished wood, create an aesthetic that is close to constructed art.
